Location Details: The Center for Urban Horticulture is one of Northeast Seattle’s best-kept hidden gems—and I absolutely love photographing here! Owned and operated by the University of Washington, this beautiful property offers so much variety in one location: gorgeous gardens, beautiful leading lines, a unique glasshouse backdrop, lush wooded areas, open green spaces, and that unmistakable Pacific Northwest feel. It’s a truly special setting that feels tucked away from the city while still being right here in Seattle.
It’s especially perfect for mini sessions because we can get so many different looks and backgrounds in a short amount of time without doing a ton of walking. Parking is typically easy and free, making the whole experience simple from start to finish. If you’re looking for a location that feels beautiful, natural, distinctly PNW, and a little bit unexpected, the Center for Urban Horticulture is a true Seattle treasure and one of my favorite places to photograph!
Session Details: Mini sessions are perfect for a quick family portrait refresh, childhood milestones, senior portraits, headshots, and couples! They’re designed for immediate families and smaller groups, so please no extended family groups. Pets are absolutely welcome, too!
Your non-refundable $399 (plus tax) reserves your session date and time. Should you need to reschedule, the amount paid may be applied to another photography session within 365 days.
Photo gallery will be available 3 weeks after your session.
If you would like to make your mini session a full session at this location you can do so by booking back-to-back sessions. All digital files are included when booking back-to-back sessions. Please select your desired date & time below.
